Wadebridge Sports and Leisure Centre Cancellation Policy

At Wadebridge Sports and Leisure Centre, we strive to offer flexible and fair cancellation options for all our members, clubs and visitors.
Please read the following policy carefully.
1. Membership Cancellations
1.1 Monthly Memberships (Direct Debit):
- You may cancel your membership at any time with 14 days' written notice before a direct Debit is due to come out. This is so we can cancel the Direct Debit before the request is automatically sent to the bank.
- Notice must be given in writing via email to .
- No refunds will be issued for the current billing period.
- We also recommend you cancel any Direct Debit with your bank
2. Class & Activity Bookings
2.1 Cancellations by the Customer:
- Cancellations must be made at least 4 hours before the class or activity start time to receive a credit or refund.
- Cancellations made within 4 hours or no-shows will be charged in full.
- In the event of repeated no-shows we reserve the right to withhold services.
2.2 Cancellations by the Leisure Centre:
- We reserve the right to cancel any session due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. staff illness, low attendance, maintenance issues). In such cases, a full refund or class credit will be provided.
3. Facility Hire (e.g. Sports Hall, Pool, squash court and studio)
3.1 Cancellation by the Customer:
- Cancellations must be made at least 7 days in advance for a full refund.
- No refund for cancellations made within 7 days of the booking.
3.2 Cancellation by the Leisure Centre:
- In the rare event we must cancel your booking, a full refund or rescheduled date will be offered.
4. Refunds
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 working days via the original payment method.
- Some refunds may be subject to a small admin fee (up to £5), except where cancellation is due to centre error or closure.
5. Exceptional Circumstances
- We understand emergencies happen. Please contact us directly at to discuss any exceptional circumstances (e.g. medical, bereavement) that may affect your ability to attend or cancel.
